Love is the greatest adventure! 🍂✈️⛺️🌼
Are you two great travellers? Then choose your hobby as your wedding theme! There are so many adorable travel-themed ideas that are exciting. Our bride and groom, K. Ploy and K. Joe chose a ‘Wanderlust and Old World Vintage Travel’ theme with an autumn colour palette to bring their love story together.

According to Thai customs, a couple traditionally becomes engaged during a ceremony known as “Kan Maak“. In order for the wedding to continue, the groom must bring the bride to join him for the engagement ceremony. However, before this can happen, the groom must successfully pass through a number of obstacles that are put in the groom’s way by the bride’s family inside our Looking Glass House. These symbolic “doors” can only be entered once the groom has proved his worth to the keepers of the “locks”. This part of the wedding ceremony is the most fun with plenty of laughter and frivolity most of which comes at the expense of the groom as he is teased and gently ribbed by the bride’s family.

The decorations include vintage globes as centrepieces and guest books, maps as backdrops and for aisle decor, vintage suitcases stacked for various types of decor, luggage tags for wedding favours, save the dates and invitations looking as maps or boarding passes and so on. I especially admire travel-themed wedding cakes with maps and globes and funny cake toppers showing the couple travelling. And which idea is your favourite one?
